Your Colorado dental implant cost follows local service prices, including those for dental care. Throughout Colorado, these service prices are about 0.4% below the US average. When you have Medicaid, your state plan is Health First Colorado. For members age 21 and over, the plan provides a limited dental benefit capped at $3,000 yearly starting July 1, 2026. The plan pays no more than that amount each year. Implants aren't listed on the official pages we reviewed, so call your plan to ask about them. The plan covers crowns, fillings, cleanings, root canals, and both full and partial dentures.

Dentures and emergency care stay outside the $3,000 yearly limit, which can help when money is tight. You can use the entire cap for other dental work. Once in your life, the plan replaces dentures that are lost, stolen, or broken beyond repair. Another option is to look for lower-cost treatment at a dental school clinic. According to patient information from CU Anschutz School of Dental Medicine, the school provides implants and oral surgery, plus crowns, fillings, and dentures. You can receive all of this care at one location. The Colorado Dental Board lets you check a dentist's license online before surgery.
