Every price, coverage rule and state fact on this site comes from a page we read, with the link next to the number.
The numbers and their sources
Dental groups, insurers, lenders, and health publishers publish the pages we use for price ranges. For each treatment, we save the lowest and highest figure reported by every source, then present the middle low figure and the middle high figure. Below each table, you'll see its source list.
State-level figures
Published by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, the parity figure for services in each state multiplies the US range to produce state ranges. For Medicaid, dental boards, and dental schools, we use each state's own pages plus the dental school list published by the American Dental Education Association.
What our checks and corrections cover
- Every link we cite must open. If a source moves or disappears, we replace or remove it along with its numbers.
- The agency's own site is where coverage rules (Medicare, Medicaid) are read.
- Any error sent to hello@dental-implant-cost.com is checked against its source, and fixed if that source agrees.
